Challenges

I think everyone tends to look at struggles in life as well... struggles. Test and challenges are in our lives for a reason. They can be quick or stay for a season but either way we are bound to go through them. During challenges people can handle them with ease or have a major hissy fit. True colors are brought out by our life challenges. Whether it be something simple or complex, our reaction plays a huge role in the development of our character and our maturity. When we have challenges, instead of having a hissy fit and diving into a pile of chocolate, how about saying a prayer? Do you ever think that God could be letting this happen to you for a reason? Not to punish you but to build maturity and character into your life. To allow you to only rely on Him. He wants you to understand that you can do NOthing without Him. So when challenges in life start to pop up, God says to consider it a gift. You can handle the pressure of the challenge through Him. Don't dodge your challenges but let them do their work and handle things with God's grace. If you have no clue where to begin, then ask God.
James 1:6 says, "Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought." God wants to see His children succeed. Ask for help and come out of the other side of your challenges. God will be there waiting to give you a high five.

James 1:4-6 (The Message)
2-4 Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.5-6 If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought.
