Transition from Winter to Spring in 10 easy steps.
1. Put away all winter clothes. It's officially Spring. You for sure won't need your winter coat again.
2. Shave. TMI??? Nope. Guys grow out their facial hair. Girls grow out their leg hair. Ladies will take care of it on their own. Guys... trim up those beards. *disclaimer: I love a good beard... it just needs to stay groomed.
3. Stay healthy. For some reason our bodies like to freak out when the seasons change. Mine has decided to set my throat on fire.
4. Sign up for a 5k/10k/25k walk or run. It will give you a good reason to get outside and stay active.
5. Start showing some skin. Your poor arms and legs have been hidden for a while. Give them some sunlight. *disclaimer: too much exposure can harm you [sunburn anyone?] and blind others.
6. Drive with your windows down.
7. Buy rain boots. It's gonna rain A LOT.
8. The animals are all back & running around. Don't hit them with your car.
9. Switch your hot or extra hot coffee beverages to something iced or frozen.
10. No matter how you feel about Spring, enjoy it. [I don't think you want the polar vortex to come back]
You know its spring when you see a dead skunk on the side of the road.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! And I totally agree with you about staying healthy, my throat has been on fire for a week!
