It is so easy these days to get influenced by what others have, what we see online [pinterest anyone?], and all those great coupons that flood our inbox daily. That's why for March I have decided to go on a spending freeze [after buying new spring clothes at Gap this past weekend... that sale was too good to pass up. see what i mean... inbox coupons.]
Instead of spending my money on myself and what I want, I am going to save it for the month of March and pass on the blessing to someone else.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." [2 Corinthians 9:7]
When you're on a journey to save money you need to get creative with things you already have. Go on a treasure hunt in your closet and bathroom to find items that you have neglected. Give your old converse some love. Jazz up your eyes with an eye shadow palette you wouldn't normally use. Go through your lip gloss and pick some new ones to stash in your handbag.
