June Favorites 2014

BLINK! There goes June. Seriously, I feel like it just disappeared. I am very much looking forward to July. It's my birthday month and I love celebrating our Independence on the 4th! It is also filled with trips to the beach, long bike rides, and lots of marching band rehearsals. Here's to mis-matched tan lines and another month of Summer!  Check out my favorites from June.
NYX Wonder Pencil [light]: I have been using this pencil in my water line. It helps make my eyes look more awake. The only thing about using it on my water line is making sure that it doesn't get onto my bottom lashes. It becomes a bit messy then if that happens.
Forever21 LipGloss [natural]: I bought this lipgloss around Christmas. It was one of those at the register impulse grabs. It gives my lips some moisture and has a nice and subtle nude pigment. It is very shiny so a little gloss goes a long way. If you can find it in Forever21 for sure pick it up!
Raspberry Lemonade Mini Hand Sanitizer: I am a big fan of bath & body works mini hand sanitizers. I keep them everywhere. In the last set of 5 I bought this was for sure my favorite scent. I went back and bought some more. It's a super fruity scent. I would say it's more on the raspberry side than the lemonade side.
Redken Extreme anti-snap: I featured this in my Ulta Haul and didn't know if I would like it so I bought the travel size version. Well I am happy to report that I love this product. The scent is amazing and it leaves my hair feeling protected and my ends moisturized. For sure going to invest in the full size version.
Bolthouse Farms C-Boost: This may seem weird to have this as one of my favorites but I have bought a few of these this past month and really enjoy them. I love anything with peaches in it! I put it in the freezer about 2 hours before I plan to drink it. It gives it a slushy texture and makes it super cold. It's a perfect Summer treat!
I feel like the Naked 2 Palette gets a bit of a bad rap. Yes, the colors are more on the ashy side but I find that as my skin gets darker during the summer this palette really works great. Of course half-baked is a must have bronze/copper shade [which is also in original Naked Palette.] I have been using Y2K a lot as a crease definer with half-baked on my lid. And then smudging blackout on my lash line for some definition.
Studio M Nail Lacquer [East Austin]: I have worn and re-applied this polish all month. It's one of those bright colors that makes your skin look super tan. The lasting power of this brand is incredible. For only $2.99 you get a really great punch of pigment that will stay for at least 5 days without chipping. I purchase this polish at Meijer [my local grocery store.]

HAPPY JULY!
[p.s. it's my birthday tomorrow!]

  1. I can't believe it's already July, it's crazy how fast this year is going by. I hope you have a great birthday! That nail polish is gorgeous, I've never tried any Studio M products, in fact, I've never even heard of Studio M, I'll have to looks into it!
