I love a good shellac mani as much as the next person but it not only weakens my nails but it also weakens my wallet. I found an amazing product that keeps my polish strong and chip free for a week and it only costs $8! I went into Sally's Beauty Supply in search for an OPI polish that I wanted but ended up with this, it's called 'instant artificials'. This is replacing all my base coats and top coats! It is just simply amazing. I did two coats as a base coat and then painted my polish color over it. To finish it off I added one more layer of 'instant artificials' as a top coat. *I waited to make sure every layer was dried before adding another one.* Not only did my polish stay chip free for a week but it also gave it an amazing shine and strength! Another thing that I love about this is you simply remove it with regular nail polish remover. No need for acetone, cotton balls, and foil that you would need to remove that pesky shellac mani. You need this product in your life! Also, your friends need it in their lives, what a perfect stocking stuffer!

Bee's Favorites: MAY
May is officially over. Here are some of my favorite things from last month.
Putting my whole itunes library on shuffle! It's one mood swing after another. I discover albums that I never have listened to before that somehow, through the magic of the public library ended up in my itunes. Broadway, folk, soundtracks, hard core rock, to worship music.... it's one big surprise when it's on shuffle!
Lush Blousey Shampoo: I didn't buy a full size of it because it is a little pricey for a shampoo. The sample they gave me was good for two washes. Let me tell you, my hair looked amazing after those two washes! Tons of shine and it kept my frizz under control. If I have $25 laying around taking up space I am going to buy a full pot of blousey.
Emergen-C ElectroMix Packet: I heard about these from Olivia & Hannah of #myfitspiration. These are perfect for replacing missing electrolytes after a workout or when you're just feeling worn down. I mix it in with a bottle of water and drink it down. *The taste is similar to a sparkling lemon lime soda.
bright nails: I am loving having really bright nails since my skin is starting to get tan again. Essie Tart Deco and Forever 21 Neon Pink are great bright options for the start of summer!
Boba! I have seen boba lattes but have never tried one. With the expert advice from some friends and google maps I found a boba latte place about 20 minutes away from my house. I got a punch card too, which means I will be back for more. (I got the oreo boba.)
#50MilesInMay: I really loved this challenge. My goal was to run 50 miles in May. I came 9 miles short of my goal. However I know I did at least walk/run/longboard/bike 50 miles in May. I am counting it as a success. Check out my other posts about the challenge!
The Book of Esther: I have been reading about Esther lately and remembering what an extraordinary woman she was. I am inspired by her desire to save her people. She was so unselfish that she was willing to die if it saved her people. She knew who she was and never changed from that even though her life was at stake.
What things were you loving during May?

Ulta Haul
Birthdays are always a great excuse to slip away to Ulta for the evening to look for the perfect gift and go up and down the isles of all the beauty products. Although it is also a great way to spend more money than you actually have in your checking account. Gotta check your self-control at the door.
This is what I bought, most of which ended up being a gift but you can't go in without getting something for yourself too!
Real Techniques brushes are amazing! I am slowly building a collection! Designed by PixiWoo beauty guru, Samantha Chapman. Try one of the brushes and you will be in love!
I have heard great things about this tangle teezer brush. It is supposed to be really gentle with all the tangles in your hair. Plus it's pink!
I have been in love with EOS lip balms for a while. I have one on every level of my house and always have one in my purse. The honey suckle is a great spring/summer scent!
NYX blushes are so pretty and pigmented! I am slowly collecting each one. This one is Peach.
Essie Polish: Cute as a Button
How cute are these nail polish remover pads? These were a checkout grab. I am sure they will come in handy at some point.
These Nivea lip butters do not dissipoint! I am in love with matte lips right now and if you have cracked lips you just can't do a matte lipstick, it will show everything. This lip butter will heal your lips overnight. NO JOKE!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Black Liner... not that impressed with this quite yet. I originally got it to line my water line but it ran down onto my skin about an hour after I applied it. I haven't tried it on my upper lid yet though.
This trip to Ulta was an overall success. I stayed within my budget and I got some great gifts for a friend and for myself. :)
