Because I'm Happy [10 things that are making me terribly happy III]

1. Friends. It's a little crazy to me that it took me this long to finally have some real and genuine friends but all in God's timing right? The people I have come to meet in the past two months have made my life so enjoyable and I might even say have changed the course of my life.

2. Fellowship. Girls night, nights out on the town, movie nights, or some old school skating at a roller rink. It is all fellowship and it's making me happy.
3. Worship. I have been having some awesome alone times of worship with God as well as community worship. His presence is flowing in my life!

4. Singing. If you drive past me on the road I will probably be having an amazing karaoke session.
5.  Black Coffee. Can't go a day without it. I am also aware that black coffee will always be on my 'what makes me terribly happy' list.

6. Finally owning an iphone! It took me years but after my android became possessed by Satan, I figured it was time to abandon the droid and get me an iphone!
7. Conversations in the car with my brother. I think that is the place where we connect the most.
8. Meeting new people. Lately I have been stretching myself out of my comfort zone and have been striking up conversations with strangers. At the market, at church, at Target. Anywhere. It's been something that has been uncomfortable and somewhat scary for me. I can't get any better at it if I don't practice, right? Face your fears!
9. Elevation Worship's Album 'Wake Up the Wonder.' I could listen to this album all day long!
10. My future.

Fathers Day. 

Weekend with cousin Averie. 

5k Run/Walk with Mama. 

I have perfected my Elsa braid. 

Marching band has officially started.

Outside fun with all my toddlers. 

4th of July parade.

Mascot pictures and candy. [also Josh ended up with an ice cream sample during the parade!] 

Pool Fun! [we have been having our 4th party at the same place for 25 years! it is a quite a tradition that means a lot to all of us!]

Birthday dinner! [Mediterranean Wrap, I decided it was ok to have a little gluten on my birthday!] 

Only the best babysitters take the kids out for ice cream! 

2013 Review

2013 has been a year for growth, knowledge, and responsibility for me. I learned a lot about myself this year. Through each experience God brought my way a new lesson was learned. 

I learned that I really do enjoy a good ombre in my hair. 

I'm allergic to coconut.

It is possible to stick to a budget. 

Cavities cost a lot when you don't have dental insurance. 

Family is important, don't neglect them. 

God should be the most important, don't neglect Him either. 

Communication is necessary when building a friendship.

I still don't enjoy reading books. 

Being scared of something is ok. 

Don't complain about the hot or cold weather in Michigan.

Watching a best friend get married will make you cry tears of joy. 

Going to Ulta or Sephora can put me in a happy mood. 

No matter how old you are, your parents will always have great advice.

^ watching my brother compete in longboard races all year with his friends (my friends too even though he doesn't like when I say that.) ^

^ Teaching the Comstock Park Color Guard for my 3rd year with my trusty sidekick & best friend Michelle. Seeing the growth and success of the whole group made all the hard work, dedication, and stress totally worth it. We are one big happy family. ^ 

^getting to know each other better and growing in unity. all my church friends have been there for most of my life. ^

^Nothing like sibling backseat selfies. My brother and I have grown a stronger relationship throughout the year and I love him very much. Sure, he gets on my nerves but that's what brothers are for. ^
